Finally someone who shares my dislike for yakking on the phone. I, too, would much rather visit with someone in person whenever possible. My problem with social phonecalls is that my friends just plain talk too much. I will be on the phone for an hour with them and unless I stop them, they will keep me for an hour longer. I get aggitated about 15 minutes into the conversation, waiting for them to take a breath so I can say "gotta go", or some other variant of OK enough already! And when I finally do blurt it out, it sounds totally out of place and rude. I'm hopeless. And my voice mailbox fills up regularly.

Re: Random Musings - Not Really a Phone Person

I am with you on this one. Why do we need phones, anyway? Publisher's Clearing House just shows up at your door. They don't call first.

Re: Random Musings - Not Really a Phone Person

Diva Muse,<br>In light of the fact that you've received so much bad news over the phone....I totally understand.
